A question about Data

Hi guys,

I recently installed this app that tracks how much talking/sms/data I use. Now I got my student plan without any data, therefore I can't access the internet but only have social networking. After I downloaded the app, immidiately it told me that data is continously being used to the point where I was using around 100kb every half an hr. I am just wondering, is it the social networking plan that I have such as bbm that's using this data? or is it one of the games I downloaded that I haven't used internet, or is it something else hidden?

P.S. I haven't used facebook or tweeter or any other social networks just BBM and SMS.

First it depends on how much your Bbm'ing. To answer your question, BBM uses data.....how much that I don't really know. But if your Bbm'ing hundreds of msgs a day, then your going to use a lot of data I would think.

yes even though your not opening a browser, your using Bbm, which uses data.
