I trying to bid for a BB phone on eBay (I'm a first time eBay user0, and seller lists the BB as an AT&T phone, but the cellular band that the auctioneer lists the following:

Cellular Band: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (Quadband) HSDPA 850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100

This seems like a general information that was copy and pasted from somewhere else, but I just want to be sure of the information.

AT&T's 3G bands are 850/1900, is that correct? And T-Mobile is 900/1700? What are the others: 1800 and 2100?

I want to be sure that I wasn't bidding on an unlocked phone from another country where I wouldn't be able to use 3G here in the States.

Generally speaking, this is basically how it is......im nearly 100% sure. you can do a few minutes of google searching to verify it yourself.

    AT&T: 2G/3G/4G - 850/1900
    T-Mobile: 2G - 1900, 3G/4G - 1700
    Europe/Asia/Africa - 2G 900/1800, 3G - 2100
