OK So I took advantage of the Kingston deals and got the 4gb microSD for my Pearl8100. However, once inserted and attempting to format the card...it fails everytime.

    Any ideas?

This may sound like a stupid question,
    but is it installed correctly?

    Good, it comes a lot.
If you have a card reader try formatting it
on your computer and then putting it
back and see if the BB sees it then.

Did the card come with a USB adapter?
If so that's your card reader. Put the microSD
card into the larger one. Put the larger card
in the adapter and plug it in a USB port.

Try taking the card out and reseating it.
Format again, if it fails, do a battery pull
(take battery out of phone while it on
leave out for 30-60 secs and put it back)

    Once restarted try again.

LOL oh **** no....I'll either shell out the $10 for a USB reader to format it or beg/borrow/steal one from someone at work
