Q10 no question. Z10 left me cold , plasticky, featherweight copy of an i5 which I also hated. Honestly compare a Z10 to a much classier, sexy 9860 and you'll agree. Will wait for Q10 with its glass fibre weave and qwerty keyboard. A much classier, intelligent design that Ill be proud to own and flash about. It also has a larger 2100 mAh battery and can't be beaten as a social network phone.

While I agree that the Q10 will be a sexy/classy device, I do not agree on the thoughts of the Z10. The Z10 design was well before the iPhone 5 released, so there was no copying. I think the weight and form of the Z10 is perfect for a full touch device. The battery on the Q10 is intriguing and fiber weaved back will be awesome. I think they will both be great devices, but to me it is more a matter of preference of full touch or qwerty.

Q10! Just read on another thread how much better a Q10 was compared to a Z10 when held side by side. It was on the 9810 forums from an op that was at the CB NYC party and compared them side by side. They also said that the Z10 looked and felt very much like an iPhone 5 and that there was no comparison in the quality of the screen on the Q10. I'm sure either will be a fine choice. To me, BB10 seems to be taylor made for an all touch device and I'm not certain that a full QWERTY keypad will even be preferable to the predictive typing on the Z10. I'm a happy customer with my Z10.

Coming from the 9900, I always thought that the Q10 would be the device for me. Never ever used a full touch screen phone other than the Storm (which was a horrifying experience).
I bought the Z10 on launch day as I just had to have it. I always did have the thought at the back of my mind that I would get the Q10 once it came through as the keyboard is where my heart lies. But, and this is a big "But", having spent more than a month with my Z10, I absolutely love it. The keyboard is awesome to the extent I can't describe. The error correction is so good that I just do random hits on the virtual keyboard and it inputs what I want. I don't even bother to look at what I'm typing or what key I'm hitting because the keyboard manages it for me. I just start hitting the keys in the vicinity of what I'm typing and it comes out perfectly.
So with a keyboard this good and a big screen real estate, I would find it hard to go to the Q10.
I have a few friends who have the iPhone 5 as their second device (I'm in India, so the BlackBerry is the first device) and some of them pulled the trigger on the Z10, while giving up their qwerty BlackBerry and they all swear that the iPhone keyboard is nowhere near the Z10.
I gave my my phone to my cousin who is visiting from the states and he has never used a BlackBerry and I asked him to try the Z10 keyboard. The first 30 seconds he said that this is "Frickin awesome".
I just feel that if most of you who are holding out for the q10 would try the Z10 for a while, you would find the perfect device in terms of big screen for media and a keyboard that is as good as a physical qwerty.
Trust me this is coming from a guy whose only experience with a full touch is the Storm and we all know how that panned out. That is not to say that I haven't had extended trials with SWype and iPhone. The Z10 is something special when it comes to typing.

I'm very happy with the Z10. Coming from the 9700, (9630 and 8830WE prior to that) I typed so much on the Bold style keyboard that the tips of my fingers would hurt by the end of each day. I even had an indentation on my thumb from the trackball. It got to the point where I would reply to messages with as few words as possible, and relied heavily on word substitution.

Now that I'm typing on glass, my fingers don't hurt anymore. The text prediction on the Z10 has made it very easy to write responses with a lot more detail. The Q10 has me intrigued, but I doubt I could give up all the extra screen real estate.

If you like very saturated colors over clarity, then the Q10 screen will appear "better" to you. When you compare text, the Z10 screen triumphs over the Q10.

On a sidenote:
It is nice to see the Q10 catching up again. I know most polls can only be taken with a pinch of salt, however it really seems the Q10 made a great comeback. When the first, bad quality pics got leaked, people were so disappointed, some polls showed only ~20% of the voters would prefer the Q. Right now things have changed to the better.

I think blackberry is a new great blackberry if there is no physical keyboard. Bexause virtual keyboard will not hurt your finger, will not broken (double typing error) and many more. I was from bold 9900 and i am so satisfied with virtual keyboard now

I don't think I can go back to a smaller screen if, I could I would but the real estate really helps with pictures and movies. I love the elegant look of the Q10 but the Z10 hasn't given me a reason to switch.

I wrote a 1350 words post, only with the Z10, in the remember app.

Before i had the Z10, i had a Torch 9810 and i do not miss the keyboard at all. I would say, the Z10 with its bigger touchscreen experience is worth it. I never thought i could live without a physical keyboard.
But it was easy enough to write 1,3k words with it.

And the apps right now are optimized for the Z10 resolution.

Also, I am a native speaker in french, german and english. My Z10 "Speaks" exactly these languages. This is the biggest advantage and the best implemantation of a virtual keyboard that I have ever seen. I also do not use an autocorrect feature, but just flick the words I wrote wrong up from the screen, since I just hate autocorrect on every virtual keyboard.

I wrote this in anoher thread, but i liked my own words so much, that i just had to quote myslef. I vote for the Z10, but will buy the Q10 out of curiosity.

Meh, to each his own. Blackberry used to be known for their outstanding physical keyboards. Today, well ... Blackberry exists.

While it is understandable that some still want the old style blackberry, they have moved on. I'm not sure I can go back to a tiny screen. The Z10 keyboard is awesome. Choice is a good thing.

Wow. I expected CrackBerry Nation to have a landslide win for the Z10 because it was released ahead of the Q10 and many people already have it. This proves to me that BlackBerry can expect another round of good sales soon.
