    Anyone else having ****ty battery life on the Q10 after the last AT&T update? Was running leaked 2141 with amazing battery life. Now it sucks ***, lasts only 6 hours.

    Have you rebooted at least three times since the update? If not, please do. Also, you don't have to stay with that OS. There are tons of autoloaders to use to convert back to another OS.
    10.2.1.2947 has good battery life.....

    Usually it may consume more initially, it need to reconfigure everything to your backup (reload. And start new from the 1st time you click the app. ). It will settle after 1 week or so depend upon your usage I believe. Imo.

    I've rebooted aboot 4 times now. I'm gonna give it a week and Sachesi a different version if this one keeps acting up. Was just wondering if anyone else on AT&T's update noticed this.

    This seems to be true. I own the extra battery and charging pod accessory so I wasn't too worried but I went thru this same thing exactly when Sprint finally rolled out the update, and I was slightly disappointed that my battery was dropping a good clip faster than it used to, but since some time rolled by now i'd say it's back to where it was, maybe a tad better.

    Like stlabrat said, give it a little time. It straightens out.

    Peednus, I have a Z10, and updated to the AT&T 10.2.1 that just was releases. My phone is an AT&T model, but I have been running leaks for months. I do not have your issues.

    Did you update OTA? There have been some who have had issues with this. Initially your phone will run hotter than normal because it is getting all the things done it needs to. But it should begin to cool down quickly.

    If it doesn't, then there may be an issue with the OS or it could be an app causing an issue. It may just need a little longer to for lack of a better term, settle in. If it doesn't settle in, then you might do a security wipe and reload.

    @stlabrat,
    That's how we spell about in Canada lol

    @BitPusher2600,
    Yes I also have the spare battery and external charger. But my day starts at 6am in the hospital and I can't expect my battery to be dead by noon then on to the 2nd which will leave me phoneless by 6pm. With 2141, I could go past 6pm on one charge. This is why I'm annoyed.

    @newcollector,
    Yes I did update OTA this time. Device did run hot for a bit, something like what it used to do way back with 10.1. I've been running leaks since I can remember. For me, 2141 seemed to have been the best thus far.

    Interesting. I'm on at&t but am running .2160 on my Q10. Great battery life. At 8:30pm I'm still at 67%. Glad I didn't wait.

    Why did you download the official if the leak was running well?

    I didn't download the official version. I had my phone set to 'automatic updates OFF'. I woke up in the morning to a message saying 'new software and been downloaded and the phone needs to restart to complete'. I was like "WTF??!?" I was pretty pissed off about the whole ordeal.

    It's been 3 days, still junk battery life. Haven't had a version this horrible on battery life since pre-1925. I just updated to 2947. So far it's looking a lot better!

    Yes, the battery life sucks immediately after updating to AT&T Q10SQN100-1/10.2.1.2273 but battery life improves after a day or two. I noticed System CPU usage was extremely high after updating OS but it returned to normal after some time. Hang in there...
