I can't understand what is waiting Blackberry to release a successor for our old Q10.

Please, don't say classic, it is practically the same.

Honestly speaking my successor to my Q10 is my Passport.

Technically, there have been four successors to the Q10. The Leap, Classic, Passport and the Priv.

Supposedly, there are two more in the pipeline for this year.

If you cant understand why they haven't made a follow-up, then you haven't been keeping up with Blackberry.

    That's what she said!

Lol na, not as cumbersome as you think. It pretty easy to get around the screen and keyboard of the Passport.

    hahaah

I've changed my passport by a q10 and it's easier to wear, it's small, passport is not the Q10 successor

If you buy a Classic and don't use the trackpad, then you've got yourself a successor to the Q10!

It would be the Android-powered Rome which may appear early next year.

New BB10 devices are unlikely to ever see the light of day.

The Passport is the king of BB10 - it is the only upgrade for all prior devices (which are essentially all the same).

AFAIK its the Classic because it is named also as Q20 but Classic is more of a Bold 9900 family tree while passport which is obviously no trackpad at all might be the Q10's big bro

Classic has the exact same specs as the q10 except for a slightly bigger lcd screen and without a removable battery. It is definitely not a successor.

You must have some tiny itsy bitsy hands.. I use 1 hand for my Passport for most actions …and unlike many other devices it sits nicely in the hand and don’t slip. Q10 is like Passports infant brother … Robust and solid Passport is there to watch over him ..

The Classic was codenamed the Q20 (and I think it released in a few territories as Q20 as well), it's technically a successor.

I too want a true successor to my Q10...
Truly it comes down to 3 things.
    1. Blackberry OS
    2. Keyboard
    3. Removable battery
Also a smaller sized phone. But that is not absolutely necessary.

    You won't get it, though.
Vienna (rome now I guess) is the only future BB phone thats is supposed to be released. From your list... it got a PKB. Its something!
Anyhow, investing into BB10(is this what you meant be BB OS?) after most of the developers left it. Its a meh idea. But then again, they could easily adapt AOSP, mod the laucher to look like BB and I gues most people here would not notice a difference. I do not know why they haven't done this.

    *meh means ****ty

The only BB10 device that got a successor is the Z3, to the Leap; otherwise, everything has a different form factor.

Yes, it's PRACTICALLY the same thing, a little bigger, bigger battery, a few more features... what part of "succesor" are you looking for?

Q10, 3 years old and no succesor yet

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see one... If the BlackBerry Classic had notably better specs, then it would have been the true closest successor to the Q10, but it unfortunately doesn't. If you don't mind non-removable batteries, the Passport is still a solid choice to go with in terms of specs.
