    Hi

Having a problem with my phone dropping my wifi connection, seemingly when i'm not using it. No problem connecting to my home network, but it doesn't seem to want to stay connected. I usually only notice when i pick it up after not using for a bit, and i have to reconnect. Any way to prevent this?

Sounds like your WiFi connection is just timing out. If you are not using it, it does not need to maintain a connection.

Why do you want to maintain a connection if you are not using it?

Mine doesn't time out. When I pick it up off the nightstand every morning it's still connected. Does it do this at other places or just your home? If it's just home, try rebooting the router. It shouldn't disconnect like that unless you're maybe right at the edge of the signal range and it's disconnecting because it has no choice.
