Some sites with search fields don't seem to be formatted for the BB browser (I have a Curve 8530).

For example, on the site grubhub.com, you're supposed to type an address so they can find nearby restaurants, but on the BB browser, every single address that I type in returns a result of "location not found" or "can't find anything near this address", even though those exact same addresses return plenty of results when submitted on a normal computer.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem with search fields? Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve it?

    Thanks

Out of curiosity I tried the site on my 9780, and had no problems at all.
Are you using the full site address of Food Delivery | Restaurant Takeout | Order Food Online | GrubHub ?
Or are you using the mobile address of GrubHub.com ?
I was using the mobile address with no problems.

    Hope this helps...

I'm using the mobile version you linked to, and it still doesn't work.

I've disabled Java scripts in my browser -- could that have anything to do with this problem?

As stated, I was just curious, but the site works just fine for me when I test it...
Just looked again, and it's still working fine...

As far as Java being disabled, IDK.
Have you tried to enable Java Script again and attempt to see the site?

That's all I can really say.
    Hope you get it working.
    Good Luck!

I just tried re-enabling Javascripts, and now the searches on Grubhub.com work -- thanks!

JavaScript is important thing, many things on websites are build to work with it.

NP. Glad you have your site service working!

EDIT: WoW! I just noticed it has been more than a month.
Hope you did not go all that time without the use of the site.
It looks like a great resource.
    I bookmarked it myself.
