DTEK60 - Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM, its internals are up to par with the best Androids.

If you want a Physical keyboard, get the PRIV.

I am doing very good with my z30 I dont like android , but the change to Android its going to happen... and its going to be with blackberry. So if you have to choose which one you pick Priv or Dtek 60, which design you look more attractive?

I'd go for Dtek60. Has higher specs and it is cheaper. Sure, PRIV is a good device but if you don't need a physical keyboard, Dtek60 wins.

I wouldn't go near the Priv. It was a first try device and compared to the DTEK60 it isn't worth your time. Poor build quality, poor speakers, crappy pkb, bad camera front and back. The DTEK60 is a much better buy.

The PRIV has a Snapdragon 808 and 3GB RAM, the 808 was not even top end last year, the RAM is fine, but the SoC is dated.

The PRIV simply is not worth the time if you don't require a Physical Keyboard.

Would not expect a discount on the Dtek 60 For Awhile if that is what you want. I have the Priv and I really like, but waiting for my Dtek60 to arrive. I get a new BlackBerry every year.
Myself I would buy the latest technology, but it all depends on what you need and can afford ,not want really.

Don't expect any Black Friday deal over DTEK60. It is a newly released phone. PRIV could have one, but it doesn't worth!

    Get the DTEK60 !

The Priv's hardware specs are out of date compared to the DTEK60's.

Plus the DTEK60 looks and feels more like a premium device. I should know I just got it on Friday. Upgrading to it from my z30.

For the price. Tough to find a comparison to the DETK60 on the market. If you have more cash and want to go up to the very high end from Samsung Sony or another builder go for it. Adding the Hub pack is a different option. Just a cost thing.

Bla1ze had mentioned in another thread,
Unless you really want the PKB, go for the DTEK60
    It's a better device overall
So hopefully that can help you decide

    That was helpful.

I have the priv, admittedly I don't recall the last time I used the pkb. However I don't really have any issues with the phone, I was very happy to leave Samsung behind after 6 months of use and come back to BlackBerry. Either way it is your choice, it is up to you to decide whether you want a good phone that doesn't cost as much or a new phone with new specs that does cost you more.

This might help regarding performance... LG G5 has SD820 and 4 GB of RAM while G4 has SD808 and 3 GB, same as DTEK60 vs PRIV.

To me the speed and precision of a physical keyboard is a far greater advantage than that slight performance benefit in opening games and similar things, but if you have different needs to mine the DTEK60 could be a better choice.
