    is there an existing BES policy or can one be created that prevents users from upgrading the OS on their BB's?

    Yes this is possible on a BES. I will move this thread to BB Admins, and the folks there will be able to help you.

    It's possible.

    It can also be audited manually.

    If OTA, they'll need a new password to EA.

    The OS version will show up in the BES. keeping all same model devices at the same OS level will help identify the offenders.
