I have 2 Blackberrys I need to sell. A Blackberry storm (locked) and blacked out curve 8330 (locked).

is there anything special I have to do to the phone before I sell it. Even though both phones are inactive they keep pulling up my phone number when I turn them on. Is that something that stays on there for 30 days or is there something special i have to do. I was thinking maybe pull the sim card but verizon isnt suppose to use them so. sorry if its a stupid question. I reinstalled 176 on the storm and even though its inactive it still pulls up personal data.

There's a section on the Blackberry website that shows you step-by-step what to do when selling your BB. It's a PDF file (if I remember correctly).

You want to wipe all personal data from the devices and call your provider to make sure the PIN has been
released.

To wipe the data go to Options > Security options > general settings > menu > wipe handheld
