The keyboard looks hardly usable; 'form over function'?

This is definately not for me...

Definitely different. I rather like the color, but I'll stick with my Bold's black and silver. Those keys are just hideous though. It's gotten a little better now that I've seen it a few times; but when I first saw it I had flashbacks:

And what's with the somewhat Android-style icons? It's mostly the text highlight that does the effect but still.

Really like this idea. Its creating a niche market. If I see one of these as a cheap non-working knockoff on the black market, I'm getting it just to 'show it off' on my desk. Stuff like these start conversations at bars.

Ugliest phone I've seen it at least the past 5 years. (Which, in cell phone years translates to a century.) If this is what RIM is using valuable R&D on, it's time to throw in the towel fellas.

I think the design is starting to grow on people. Especially now that it has been confirmed as an official collaboration with RIM and the very luxurious Porsche brand

That thing looks like the monstrous mongrel child of a BlackBerry and a iPhone on which an 18-wheeler would have gone over a few times. And at least Apple understands that a iPhone should look like a iPhone.

My only hope is that this thing is for the Asian market or something.

I think it will do well .. If you see other photos of it it shows it off much more impressively .... Its an exclusive market and there will be demand for it .. The Porsche Brand is world famous and it is essentially the flagship Bold 9900 behind the new facade so it will function amazingly....

    It will do very well!

Worst phone I've ever seen. Porsche is so 1985. RIM, quit wasting time with this nonsense.

The images suggest a device that should have been released around 2003. Not in what is almost 2012.

It gets a "Yay" from me! Not that I will ever own one, but it goes along the same lines as the cars..... Great to look at and a joy to operate, but not practical for the family guy with kids and a dog and a weasel.... er.... I mean cat.

Yeah.... I can see my Porsche Design BlackBerry with Nutella on the keyboard...
