One word: FUGLY!
The only thing I thought that looked bad on it was the keyboard..it looks bad all around. I think a better looking keyboard would make a big difference.
Slightly more flattering photo here.
I like those middle row keys. Very sleek I think.
All I know at this point is that I must apologize to the guy who kept posting threads about this a while back, since this is actually real. It's best to eat crow when it's still warm, so will you pass the ketchup?
Glossy Piano Black would make me buy it in a heartbeat.
I really like the concept. This particular phone design does not appeal to me, but the idea of having other brands implement their design concepts on the BlackBerry platform certainly does. I maintain I'd like to see a BlackBerry Breitling phone sometime.

A few questions to the people who really dislike the design. Do you own a Porsche? Are you familiar with the location this event is being held in? If your answer isn't yes to both of those questions your opinion doesn't matter to the product designers. You probably could not afford the plane ticket let alone a single night in that hotel. Please dont take offence, but that phone is targeted to a different user group than you.
This is what your BlackBerry would look like if todays technology existed in the 1980's. Not feeling it,at all.

from what i read its really a Bold 9900 with the Porsche design changes you see ...
Both camps took a L
I disagree with most of you guys. I find that this "special edition" phone has a very very nice, futuristic, 2-dimensional design. Not for everyone I agree but very classy and distinctive. I think Porsche owners will appreciate.
how about rim actually make a bbx phone and quit screwing withthis crap...does porsche include a batt pull key on the querty????
what a joke
I like it but there's no way this is the final design. There are no numbers on the keypad.
I'd have to try the keyboard before buying but I'd pay a small premium for this design if it has a good feel.
I agree! .. In this Photo .. its much more appealing, I think! ... very "Porsche Design" like! ... and could easily be a collector's item! ....
a Bold 9900 with Porsche styling!! ....
YAY for me. I would want a housing for my 9700 like that. If windmobile gets that customed 9900, I'll get it! :D

My first impression was that it looked a bit awkward but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. It has a futuristic/stylish look. Though I do wonder why the keys have no numbers?
Keyboard not looking user-friendly to me at all.
I love the new look.
I will trade my iPhone for it...
:)

yuck ! it looks like a Porsche ran over a blackberry.
First post!!
First glance I thought it was a Tron phone.. I want it!
very ugly, no chance for me
I'm not going to get into the conversation in this thread.
Anyways, my opinion. I can over look many things, but the design (or designer) looks like it was built for StarTreck or before BB had the ball cursor... god they're so old.
Nokia knows how to do it, I swear. Oh and that was from Transformers 3.
Its interesting. Ugly but I still like it......
