I would like to know if people are taking advantage of the QR codes or not? If you are not familiar, "A QR Code is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data." An example is like my avatar pic. Kinda skewed a bit, i scan both bbm contacts and codes for links and websites. Its pretty cool. I actually won a free night at a hotel by scanning a code.

I didn't vote because I can not select both a and b in the list. So yes, I QR and wish someone made a scanner for my phone that can read product bar codes but alas there isn't one that works.

Thanks for the feedback once again. I know on my HTC desire I use Shop Savvy which supports QR codes and UPC codes. Works pretty good. On my 9700, I just use my BBM for both contacts and links.

I dont use them, the only thing that has ever worked for me is scanning a new BBM contact. Otherwise I usually end up holding my phone up to something looking like ***** waiting for something to happen.

I've used them. Mostly ones I find in a Newspaper, and folks question my business card. But for the most part, I stick to reading the internet article and just showing off my site.
