Please do not confuse SoftReset with an actual battery pull. That is the name of a software program found here

i prefer quickpull because i have a case on my bb, but sometimes you have to so a batt pull because the durn thing locks up

Soft Reset is a program that does it automatically for your. I am not talking about doing and actual soft reset

i dont understand the point of quickpull. when i need to do a battery pull its because my phone is FROZEN. I can't scroll over to the quickpull app to run it.

that usually never happens....

hoewver, phones do get slow if you haven't restarted it for a while. This way you don't have to keep removing your back cover where you may break something

Softreset has always worked well but just switched over to quickpull to give it a try. No problems so far.
