Music: Merges podcasts with my 1800+ music collection. It makes it hard to find just the podcasts, or listen to music without frequent interruption by a podcast.
Video: Doesn't show up in Media app. BB scans them into music collection anyways.
Voicenotes: Same thing.
Custom directory: Same thing. Even if it's outside of the root /blackberry directory.
PIctures: Haven't tried, but I don't think it'd work very well.
Ringtones: Works, kinda. Podcasts kept separate from music, but player stops when the end key is pressed. Only filenames are displayed in the media app. I really want a better solution than this...
Anyone have any ideas? I've been scratching my head about this ever since I got my 8900 and a 16gb card.
I'd like to hear what people are saying...I've been putting them into the ringtones folder for the same reasons you mentioned, and having the same complaints. I've tried "Ultra Podcast Player" but I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm really looking foreward to having PodCasts integrated into Viigo!
