have had 8330 for years--which has been a solid performer. I hate to part with it but its time. I was looking at android but am fearful of the short battery life and freezing issues I hear.

I think Im going to stick with BB.

My carrier, US Cellular, only offers the Curve 9330 and the Bold 9650. Which would you choose? If you use either of these what are youru concerns?

    Thanks

    The 9650 is better.
The 9650 has a better camera (3.2 MP with flash vs 2.0 MP no flash)
    The 9650 has a better display (480x360 vs 320x240)
    The 9650 is a world phone, the 9330 isn't.
The 9650 is built better and looks nicer.
Googled and found an answer I agree with.
The Bold 9650 is what I would recommend!

Thanks CA. So far Im leaning with 9650 too. HTC Desire is still on list if I decide to go with Android

Have you ever thought about the HTC Merge?
It's an extremely nice device, and the keyboard is quiet amazing.

I have a Bold with USCC and really like it a lot. It is built well and runs smooth. Their official release of os6 isn't the latest build but runs well. I tried the latest leak and went back to it.

I tried an Android phone for a day and as half and absoutly hated it. I think it was more due to the phone than the os. I didn't get along well with the landscape keyboard or the on screen keyboard. The phone I tried was the Samsung Acclaim. The Merge might provide a better experience.

If you want a BlackBerry, it might be worth it to buy yourself a cheap used or reman phone. There are some sweet BBs due out later this summer or early fall. Both the 9650 and 9330 are due to be discontinued by USCC in September.

If having the latest hardware isn't that important to you the 9650 is an exelent choice.

USCC gives you 30 days to try out new stuff and will allow you to exchange it for something else if you don't like it.

The only solid rumor out there is that the all touch screen (monaco) is comming sometime this summer.

It's assumed that the new Bold and Curve will replace the 9650 and 9330 but nothing has been leaked or rumored yet.
