Please help! Asap!
HI! I'm from Paraguay, and I have a full bbm service plan here, but I'll be travelling to Punta del Este, Uruguay soon and I want to use bbm a lot, like everyday.. so I called my company to find out how would I be able to use bbm in Uruguay, and they told me I would be able to use bbm and other services like facebook and web, for 11$ DOLLARS PER MEGA, that sounds a lot to me! but my question is HOW MUCH MEGAS DOES BBM USE SOLELY? I don't care about using fb or searching something in the web, ONLY BBM

honestly, I wouldn't even know how to gauge that since it just shows data usage on my bills but I know at 11 dollars per mb is insane and you'll blow through a ton of money depending on how long you are on vacation. could you get a cheap local sim car to put in the phone to use if you have a gsm or world phone?

Dirt cheap to use BlackBerry Messenger, even at those high Mb rates.
The key is granularity. Each message uses a minimum of 2Kb of data. It takes 500 x 2Kb to make 1 Mb. At $10 Mb, that is still only 2 cents per message.

If your contacts send you pictures or voice note messages, the thumbnails use a tiny amount of data. If you download from the thumbnails, or open a Voice note, that will use a lot of data.
