Try a different Android app. I've had BB10 updates that screwed up the Android runtime. If no Android apps work, than you know it is the runtime and you should try doing a security wipe and reload the OS update.

I remember a while back when people were updating from 10.0.9 to 10.0.10, if they restored their whole app data, it wouldn't work. The android runtime would get funky
It could be the same issue. I've never had the issue happen to me, but then again, I install leaks all the time that it's sort of hard to tell because I rarely have ever updated OTA

Did you read my post?

Try to run another Android app. Do that.

If another Android app that usually works won't work, than you know it isn't a problem with the Skype app and it is most likely a problem with Android runtime.

Did Instagram used to work?

There are tons of versions that don't work, if you sideloaded the one that does work and you can't open it either, I'd recommend reloading the OS

Do a security wipe. At your home screen, swipe down and select "Settings", scroll down and select "security...", then select "security wipe". It takes a few to complete. Once complete, only restore settings and media, from your back up files. Do NOT restore app data

Your runtime is busted. If you do a wipe+restore and still same result, you will have to give up the restore, and not restore
Sometimes something faulty is in the restore, because it does in fact restore android data

I feel for you guys - it's sad when Blackberry customers, to get functionality...
...Are forced to "side load" applications which were designed for another platform.
...Then spend the time in doing device wipes and starting over.

It's like Blackberry takes advangage of it's own customers by having them do their job...
...It wouldn't supprise me if RIM has people vulturing on the forums.
...Figuring out what works and what doesn't.
