I haven't heard anything about my pre-orded z10 being shipped. However, I did receive a text message from Rogers telling me it will be available February 5th and to reply YES to change my model colour to white. Sticking with black though. So it may be safe to say that I'll be picking up my phone on the 5th. Fingers crossed.

Also upgraded my existing plan and have 6 gigs of data to go wild on this amazing phone

Am I too understand that if I preorder ie tomorrow I will get a $50 discount from Bell. They have only six on preorder with 36 coming in so I didn't bother to preorder.

I was told I would get a trade in of $60 for my Old BB.

My black unit is being delivered to my house by Telus. Apparently the devices ship February 4th, and will take 2 to 3 days to deliver. So the worst-case scenario should be that it arrives a week from now!

I highly doubt they are allowed to sell them before the 5th. I'm sure there's a contractual obligation so all the Canadian carriers could release on the same day.. likely enforced in stores by restrictions on their point of sales systems.
