Phone selection
My girfriend is in need of a new phone on tmo network. her old phone died and right now she is using one of those nokia freebies that was made in like 1850. It has the capacity to store 50 text messages and does not auto delte the old ones so my BB habitual texting must be getting anoying to her.
Anyhow I am looking to get her a phone with a qwerty format but don't really know what that provider has to offer. If i got her a BB curve would it be useles without the data plan? how much extra do you pay for BB plan on a family share plan for just one line. please let me know if there are any other phones i should consider looking at.

No BB is useless lol. But its kind of pointless I guess without a data plan. You wouldn't be able to use the browser, get emails which is the main function of the BB, download apps OTA, so many things you need a data plan for I could go on! How much you pay depends on your provider. I pay 30 extra but I'm on a sprint individual plan not family. I have a pearl and love it but you indicated you wanted her to have full QWERTY so a Curve is a great choice. Also a BB can store text messages forever, literally there's an option for forever, but I can weigh heavily on memory, but that's less of a concern with the greater memory the Curve has over the Pearl. Good luck!

I would get the BB with the data plan and reduce my minutes.....ya....my addiction to my BB is that bad! Who needs voice communication when you could email, IM, or text.....talking is so over rated.
