So I called at&t about my Blackjack 2 because it wasn't getting any service. So when I was on the line with the guy, he said that there was a recall for any and all BJ2's out there. AND, he said I could upgrade to something of equal or greater value. Does that mean I could get a Blackberry Bold if I wanted to?

Final: OKAY, I was told that I could upgrade to a Bold for $199 after all, but then the lady said I wasn't eligible for an upgrade at all. So she transferred me over to warranty and I guess I'm getting a refurb BlackJack II.




How convenient. One second I have an upgrade, the next I don't, and now my upgrade date is only one day forward; November 28, 2009. I currently am not happy, but I do get a phone with service in my house.

Try what adam said. That is BS. If they told you that, it is their fault that they said it. They cant turn back on what they said. You could pull it off. Good Luck!

I would call back and do what adam suggested. Thats a load of crap IMO. It all depends on who you get. Maybe this time you will get some people that actually will help you instead of giving you a recalled product. Did they read out to you the terms and conditions and you agreed? If they didn't do that, I am sure warranty isn't sending you any phone.
