    Hope someone can help?

My Curve has always connected to my home wireless router until yesterday that is.

Now it won't connect, I switch the WiFi on on the phone but instead of changing to "home" it just stays as "on" (the WiFi symbol stays greyed out as well).

When I go into WiFi options, select my home network and select status it says "device unable to aquire IP address"

The phone will connect to my work network without any problems and my laptop connects to my home network with no problems so I'm stumped.

I've tried deleting the home network on the phone and re-installing but it still won't work.

I have not changed any settings on either the phone, router or laptop.

Any ideas guys and gals ?

Unplug your router, wait a few seconds, plug it back in.
Happens to me at work sometimes (linksys router btw)

that's what you call DHCP and it's on your router where the problem is, maybe a reboot will fix it, if not look at your DHCP setting on your router, it should be ON.

The same thing happens to me every once in a while . . my solution

    1. switch the wifi off then back on OR hit the reset button on the back of the Wifi router.

    2. on the BB > press and hold ' ctrl ' then ' right shift ' and then ' Delete ' ( Soft Reset )

    that should solve it
