OK so.after speaking with Change.org, I have to reach 100 signatures first before I can up the signature level. Reasons for this is to see if a petition takes off. If it doesn't then they allow for upping the signature base.
    That makes sense.

Even if 100,000 people signed, which won't happen, it wouldn't be enough to give this an economical justification for Netflix. Sorry.

How about 6 million. Would that be enough for Netflix to make an app? Sign it anyway and it brings us closer to 6 million please

Signed but... even if everyone who reads this thread signed, you'll get a couple thousand at most. There needs to be a way to reach the BB10 audience at large.

Maybe if people post it on their BBM channels, or even better, if we got a Crackberry front page article. Any other ideas?

    Just signed.
I remember we tried this with t-mobile for the z30.
We had like 3000 signatures but that didn't do anything.
I remember spamming it on BB Empire and N4BB.
    Hope this one goes farther.
    Good luck!

I believe we tried this with the Playbook and then with the Z10. I doubt if Netflix cares about BlackBerry. I seem to remember their CEO making some negative comments about BlackBerry products. I stopped using Netflix years ago because they changed their process and I found that they had little to offer that interested me. I will take a look at the petition but feel that it will be just like all of the past ones and have no impact.

It's been done before. Download the app off Amazon's app store. That is where BlackBerry told devs to submit their Android developed apps to. Netflix has provided exactly what BlackBerry told all the devs in the world to do.

You can't get Netflix from amazon anymore... they are blocking bb10 devices...

Even if they responded, they would just respond with an Android port that they don't update regularly. I'd rather just use the Google Play version. I have the play store working and it prompts me weekly when there's an update. Works perfectly fine and fast.

Doesn't Netflix look at platform user base, not number of petitions? They must have a % market share criteria

What are you going to do when the next upgrade asks for google play services and breaks your app?

Canadian content is brutal and they don't support my Z10.

I don't have unlimited data either because of our current mobile and media monopoly here in Canada.

And they wonder why ppl resort to free illegal downloads.

We have Google Play Services working. If all else failed I would use an older version that worked. I expect it will continue to work just fine.
