I have a quick question. If I uninstall the 4.5 and go back to 4.2 will I be able to restore all of my calendar dates that were made while I had 4.5 installed?
Yes you can, just do a backup, before you install 4.2.

    I installed the 4.5.0.18 for 8320,

I felt like the volume of the ringer and media player became lower. Even it is in the audioboost.

I notice that there is a 3 MB size limit on video attachments to email using OS 4.5.0.10. There was not a 3 MB limit for photo attachments in OS 4.2, so this may be just a beta restriction--or it may be a new RIM policy.

The 8300 is more stable then the 8310.
    BBlight
    Sametime enterprise messenger
    TeleNav
    No intermittent signal loss.

And the only thing I cared about, My 6gb card works!

8310 refurb is going back, waiting for the 8400 or 8900 whatever the next big thing is.

How do you know it's .18. The one in Adlen's auto reply is .10 or .18?

I have the .10 and it's working perfectly since I installed it yesterday. My only problem is that I have lost my Empower.

    Check out coldconfession's Last post.

I downloaded 4.5 from the link in the email and when I installed it, I chose repair. Then I started up DM and it now states that it is updating the CORE applications. Yay!

I'm mad because if it takes an hour again, my g/f will be very mad as she is waiting in the car for me right now :-(

So... once they finally release this thing, what's the best step? Should we all roll back our berries to 4.2 then do the install or do you think that we could use the repair option during instalation. Has anyone on here gone from 4.5.0.10 to 4.5.0.18? What did you do, rollback then upgrade or just install it. I imagine the official release will be something like 4.5.0.30 so it would seem relevent to find out

Ok i couldnt wait. recently purchased the 8310( my first berry) i updated the os to 4.5 waiting to see what happens. Am i wrong to assume the GPS should work wether im indoors or not? i havnt tried the GPS outside yet but i know when i go to the options and click refresh satellites i never get any connections to one. Just got this 8310 a week ago now and i absolutly love it, **** of alot better than the iphone and cheaper too( stupid apple) should have gotten this curve in the first place. Only thing i wish it had wifi, didnt know the at&t model(8310) didnt have wifi or that wifi was even available for it, miss the wifi i had on my iphone since the EDGE network is soo damn slow. Also one of the main reason i bought the curve was the ringer volume.... If i find the ringer is quieter with this new OS version ill have to go back to the original
