    I want to be able to read open and edit a pdf file. I have eoffice and when i go to the file it say like file is empty. is there any other way i can edit this file?

    PDF files typically can't be edited, unless you have the Adobe software that created it. Adobe Reader can't edit the files. As for viewing a PDF on a BlackBerry, BeamBerry is one option: Native PDF Reader for BlackBerry. There are other options as well. I don't know any that are free.

    PDF's are meant to be solid state.. Meaning you create the document as is and it stays the same from person to person to person. This is also done to make it viewable cross platform without changing the layout of the document.

    When creating a pdf the author can create fields that can be filled out for editing.

    If you want to create PDFS you need something like Adobe Acrobat Professional this allows you to make pdf from word files web pages etc etc.
