    Hi all

    Relatively straightforward issue/question (I hope). My password to log into my Blackberry device was 6 characters long, and involved pressing keys 1,4,7,7,4,1. However, this was entered using Suretype.

    I have inadvertantly turned Suretype off my Blackberry, and so pressing the 6 keys above using tapping no longer gives me the correct password. My question is simply, what does pressing the above keys give you in Suretype as a default? If I can match this using tapping I should be able to get back in, but (stupidly) I never had the foresight to write down wat this key sequence produced as I never expected Suretype to turn itself off.

    Please could someone enter in 147741 and see what comes up and let me know.

    Much appreciated.

    I am using a Pearl 9105 if you think that makes a difference.

    Cheers
    Edd

    Is your Pearl a QWERTY configuration or ABC configuration?
    Pearl is sold in 2 types of keypad configuration.

    Just tried this on a Pearl with the ABC keypad. Pressing 147741 in quick succession got me;

    .irri,

    That is with a period at the beginning and a comma at the end, but you may want to try with a period at both ends if the comma isn't accepted.

    Hope that helps.

    My pearl flip (not sure if the KB is different from the 8100) gives me "rdvvde", and no "real" words in the suggestion list.
