    Is there a problem with the Passport's keyboard backlight? Its becoming a serious problem. In the morning and night time it will be pitch black and I simply can't type because I can't see the keyboard.. what the **** do I do? It couldn't get any darker and yet the backlight doesn't turn on.

    Also, saw one post that mentioned colors for the backlight, that would be neat.

    I have only had this sort of issue once. I can't recall what I was doing prior to it happening.

    I did a reboot and haven't had the issue since.

    I had the same keyboard backlight problem after installing the 10.3.1x leak. Had other issues as well, such as flickering screens. I downgraded to 10.3.0.908 and everything works perfectly now. Hope this helps.

    Sensor is just to the left of the BlackBerry logo on front of device, try shielding this area, perhaps it's picking up some glare.

    Passport'n stuff all day long.

    If the screen is turning to the highest brightness (outdoor sunny level brightness)and the keyboard backlight is turning off, then it's an issue with the device. I went through 2 Passports until I got one that has been working perfectly.

    Same issues with 10.3.1. I just experienced it yesterday. It seems to me it's related to the battery save mode.
