Mine has dire legal threats and warnings and a toll-free number to call if it's found. I lost mine on the Washington DC metro. The finder called the number. The number service called me and gave me the finder's email address. I emailed her and we met at Union Station and she gave me my phone. It works if the finder is honest.
Wow...I didn't realize that people put that much info on it. I have my first and last name, but no phone number. I don't have a paying job so there's no office number to put down...and I'm sure as heck NOT putting down my home phone number.
I guess I'll just leave it the way it is unless I come up with some startling and thoughtful quote to put there instead.
I have my full name, the phone's number, my email address, and "in case of emergency call xxx-xxx-xxxx" which is my parent's home phone number.
I don't see the problem with putting your home phone number on it...if I lost it or if I passed out with my berry in my hand I'd definitely want them to call my parents! If I HAD a home phone number I'd put it on there but I only have my BB...and if anyone called my boyfriend he'd most likely not pick up since he's in the army.
I didn't realize that putting that information on their could come in handy... I just changed it from having my name on it to adding info in case I loose it. I tend to have a bad habit of misplacing things.
