So we have Fairfax, Samsung, LG, Cisco, SAP and Google and a few others thinking about scooping up BlackBerry (rumors so far)
which one would you like to see take BlackBerry. I don't know much about Fairfax and SAP so that one is up in the air for me.
LG and Google would buy it and immediately see a decline and run back to Android and I think with LG and Google we would have another WebOS on our hands. Samsung might try to get away from Google (huge risk) after all they have spent so much time gaining on Apple is it worth the risk? .
But I like Cisco (they even feature the Q on their commercials, so they do support BlackBerry) I think the best player in my opinion would be Cisco after all the slogan is "keep things running " I think it would be a smart move and a match made in heaven
Who would you guys like to buy BlackBerry out of all the recent bidders?(rumors I know)
.. please don't comment "Another one, haven't we had enough of these posts already" if you have seen a post similar just hit that back button an move on to the next post, appreciate it

Fairfax or nothing. I want the company as close to "normal" operation as possible. Every other option just screams the company is going to be torn apart and sold off for scraps.

Although I like the idea of going private and getting out of the public spotlight while they regroup, I could also see good things coming from a partnership with Cisco.

Fairfax or maybe Cisco. I really want to see this company to rise from the ashes so those two I feel would be able to do it best.

LOL. Just a thought. Blackberrys next phone: The Phoenix.

Sick of BB managment, do not care who gets it, as long as they offer $15 for SP

I think I would like either Fairfax or SAP. SAP could still produce the hardware, and then they could up their enterprise business and synchronise the two into one.

You're both assuming that the handsets and/or BB10 would be continued in some form by Samsung and Cisco.

    That's a VERY big assumption.

What if they both just got one part of BBRY. Cisco bought the servers/MDM division and Samsung bought BBM. (To port into Android as Samsung's own messaging solution)

Would you still be as positive about their ownership?

Not saying it will happen that way, but that scenario is probably more realistic than Samsung starting to make BB10 phones.

I prefer FairFax or Cerberus to buy BlackBerry. But, I prefer as what Microsoft did with Apple in 1997, they refinanced it. Truly, I want BlackBerry is still a whole in one place.

It all depends on which one you want to short? Whoever buys it will lose $$ right away.

You really want that? Their management is so terrible! I want them to be lean and behave like a small startup company. They can't be that lethargic mess anymore.
