I'm writing on behalf of a friend who has a Curve through AT&T, and just now upgraded her OS to 4.5. She can no longer launch Web pages through links imbedded in emails.

I have Verizon; have used 4.5 for the past few months, and I (think!) I can .. though I rarely use that function.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there a setting she needs to tweak?

in the email, try hitting menu>get plain text. see if that works..

I'll try that, but why would plain text work?

im not sure exactly why, but when i send myself links from email addy to email addy, i have to do the same thing in order to click on it..

I have the same problem on my bold - but the "get plain text" idea did not work for me.....
