    I ordered three red faceplates for my Curve 8320 over a week ago from Cellular Accessories - Motorola, Accessories Store, HTC, Sony, SonyEricsson, Alcatel, Apple, Nokia, Pan and they're just now shipping it out and that will take another 7-10 days. I don't know if I'll order from them again just to save some money. I don't like waiting that long!

    you have to remember that cnn.cn is in CHINA lol... and they're times are way different from ours. i ordered the red housing for my 8310 and it took almost 2 weeks.

    I ordered a few parts from China and it took from March 17th till April 1st! Granted they were exactly what I needed and in perfection condition with excellent packaging China needs to stop nazing their mail!

    Well, here is what I got back today via email on why it was taking so long. By my calculations it will take 20 days and that is too long even if it came from the moon! At least they replied to my email.

    Hello Jack,

    It was sent to the post office on the 8th and theyre processing to have it sent out of the country as we speak.

    There were a few factors that contributed to the delay.

    1. The long weekend from the 4th 6th of April
    2. A screw mount issue with the Curve faceplates that needed to be resolved by RIM
    3. The backlog of orders from the Easter weekend which has still not been cleared

    Normally processing time for an order is no more than 2 business days, but ever since the Chinese New Year weve basically been trying to play catch up with a shorthanded staff. Let me know if theres anything I can do in regards to your order for the delay and Ill see what I can do.

    I hear ya, I ordered an $11 trackball for my pearl because I thought it would be the older smoother version, not the lousy one that came with my 8130, and after a week they finally shipped and it took another week.

    And when it came? It's the same lousy new trackball! Completely not worth the cost and time to wait.

    It's coming internationally. When I worked at UPS even express 2day going to European or Asian countries took at least 3 days. Remember time is over 8 hr different and may even have date line crossed. Be patient

    Thanks for clearing the wait issue up for me as well. I ordered the side pieces for my Curve 2 weeks ago and I haven't received them. I was thinking I may have been ripped off. I got my faceplate off ebay and it took 3 days but that was domestic.

    BEWARE of order from cnn.cn order from Hong Kong!!!

    I ordered $60 worth of accessories from them Feb 10 and have not received my order as of today Mar 8. They failed to answer my emails, calls to Hong Kong, and claim the order got lost in the mail and will not refund my money.

    If that is not the most BOGUS BS I've ever heard, I don't know what is. Here are the emails that transpired between Steve Chan and myself. For all I know, they pocketed my money and sent out an empty package for tracking number purposes.

    I've never dealt with such poor customer service and irresponsibility by blaming the CUSTOMER for alleged USPS misplaced items.

    To be honest it seems like they are telling you everything up front before on their site before you ordered. What's the big deal with you contacting usps or your dredit card company? To be honest if you contacted me that way I would have given you the big ol' **** off too. Personally I believe they are people and the way you spoke to them in those emails was was rude and condescending.

    As for the OP everything they have said seems pretty valid to me. Perhaps time is the key. Like everyone else has said you can't rush perfection haha.
