HELP PLEASE regarding gprs/GPRS

I have purchased the blackberry internet data plan for �5 off Orange for my pay monthly sim and was told twice by people at Orange that it was activated, but my blackberry still shows gprs instead of GPRS and i cannot connect to the internet at all! Does anyone know the problem???

Try a battery pull or at least turn off and on again.

Do you have the data connection turned on in mobile connections?

When did you activate? It can take some time I remember (I used to be on orange payg BIS aswell)

Just another thought have you signed up to Orange BIS online BlackBerry Internet Service

then you can send the service books to yourself and set up email.

it wont let me sign up, evetho iv sent the register now thing on my bb

Do you have a BB data plan on the account?

If you are having issues signing up to BIS, give your carrier a call, and they will help walk you through the signup process.
