Larry, from one CEO to another, you are attempting to save a world class corporation that, quite frankly, does not require your rescue services. BlackBerry had at one point come off the rails, but they are well on their way to a successful recovery. As high of a mountain it is to climb to win back support, they are taking steps in a very calculated manner. I can assure you that they are not winging it, and do have a firm grip (once again) on the wheel. I do not believe for a moment that they are in that difficult of a situation where they might require outside assistance, and they are certainly not interested in being number one again (not yet, anyway). I watched an interview not long ago with Thorsten, and he was asked who he worried about more, Apple or Samsung. He responded (correctly) that his biggest worry is BlackBerry customers, and they are more than willing to listen. What they cannot do is veer off track and lose focus of their objectives, just to try something that may or may not be a good idea. They have turned the ship around, and for the first time in a long time are back on track. The new BlackBerry is not broken, it just requires tuning. They DID learn something during their downward spiral.

Perhaps he can get through the letter and your points with more patience than I can.
