I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how many MP3's one should be able to load onto my 8830 WE. I'm talking about internal memory. I loaded a few (4) 20 second ringtongs and it's indicating file full. Is this normal? Thanks:confused:

Sorry but no idea.
Why not pick up a small (1 gig) Micro SD card?
They're pretty darned cheap. < $20
There is no set amount. It completely depends on how much file free is available and how big the file size of the mp3s are. I would recommend getting a microSD card to store mp3s on. Also if you are having low memory issues, check out the links below.

Optimize your BB's Memory
Thanks Guys. I'm going to pick up a media card tonight. Just wondered if I had a setting wrong or something - but makes sense that it depends on total memory free based on your other apps. Thanks again. I just joined the "Crackberry" family and know i'm going to love it.

You don't want to use your device memory to load mp3's. They eat up your memory big time.
I picked up a 2GB MicroSD at Fry's for $19
...cheaper than some of the 1GBs for sale.
Hopefully the one I got isn't preloaded with one of them Chinese viruses
