One app icon stuck on top of another - BlackBerry Classic, how can I separate them?

I have just tried moving some app icons to an order that suits me and have, inadvertently, placed the BBM app right on top of my emails app icon. I didn't get that 'folder' option I've read about (whilst trying to solve this) and have tried dragging the double-icon down to the bottom of the screen to separate them, to no avail.

It's a brand new Classic and I've only had it a couple of days. Can anyone tell me how to separate these two 'glued-together- icons, please? Going quietly doolally here...

Never heard of that happening before. Why not try dragging the double icon onto another (less important) icon of your choosing to create a folder. Then see if the three icons appear separately inside.

Actually, before you do that, reset your device by holding down both volume buttons for 20 seconds or so.

Yeah, some funn(k)y-ness can be fixed with a reboot or soft-reset as suggested... ^
