OK, so I'm not a Blackberry user...yet.

I need one for work and there are 3 on offer, but I'm not sure which to go for. It will primarily be used for e-mail and the odd call. My choices are the 8110, 8310 or 8800.

Any recommendations from these?

All are good device. I would prefer the 8310 from those choices. You might prefer differently as it really is a personal preference. Go to a deal and handle all three... see what you think.

i like the size of the pearl and the suretype isn't that bad but if you want qwerty go with the 8310 and if you don't care about a camera you could go with the 8800

i had the pearl, and now love my curve, 2 reasons, and these are personal opinions and preferences, the suretype makes it hard to do most symbols and the symbols screen is laggy, curve, full keyboard so you can always write what you meant. and the symbols screen seems alot faster on my curve.

8310, you get the best of both worlds. full qwerty keyboard and a camera for fun!

Yeah I agree with jared.dipane the 8310... 8800 has no camera and is the biggest of all 3. In my opinion the the Pearl is too small for me.

If you are using it for work and will often go where camera phones are not allowed, go with the 8800. It has a full keyboard.

If you want small with a camera, 8110.

If you looking for compact, not small, a camera and qwerty keyboard 8310 is your baby.

All three are great devices, just depends on what you want.

I started with a pearl which is a great lil phone! But I LOVE my curve. I would go down to the dealer and handle all 3 though to find the best one for you! Let us know what you decide
