but I am new to these boards and have only been a BB owner for 3 months so I learning everything, but I was wondering why in some of the users signatures on these boards they will put their PIN number in their signature, is there a reason other users would need your PIN number? Just curious?

I don't but that's because I don't want to give out personal info to random stranges. If I want to have off crackberry convos then I'd just send them the pin. It's just so I know who I'm talking to.

I used to have my PIN posted, but after quite a few "issues" with rude and strange people, I took it down.

Your best bet is to meet people thru posting here and then ask each other for your pin numbers thru private messages.
