Phones like that are perfect for prisoners. Super easy to smuggle inside and can be sold behind bars for a massive markup.

Almost a wrist phone? Lol. Value for voice only users?

Despite lots of voice, I personally occupy far more hrs/day typing than talking. Compactness can contribute to device being in-hand and getting a LOT of quiet typing done during countless tiny periods of downtime thru a day. Tiny qwerty = big interest. For me. 9900 form = perfection, imo. Smaller 9650 = perfection+. No qwerty = no interest.

Not a keyboard device though. And honestly I wish they would just bring back the 9930 with 4G and an updated browser and better camera.

Not sure what your point is. The 9930's components didn't exist either till someone manufactured them. The software would be a bigger challenge.

Best hope is a Unihertz doing a 9900 or more likely a Classic clone... using the same OS they used for the Titan. But with sales as poor as they are and reception only so-so... I would not count on it.

It would have been great if BlackBerry had.... well done a lot of things differently.

Think the best hope is someone offering a KaiOS feature phone with a PKB.... again. And making it more usable in other markets.

How’s the software the challenge as BBOS 7.1 already exists. The components don’t exist as in when they created before, components were current and readily available from BB suppliers. That was almost seven years ago
