Li-ion batteries like being well charged. My 9000 lived in the charging cradle almost every day without any issue. Using the battery sometimes seems to be better than never using it (like with a laptop) but in general the consensus seems to be more charge is better. Never let one of these batteries run all the way down. That will lower the life expectancy for sure.

This is not exactly correct. The recommend best practice is to let the battery deep discharge every 30 to 40 charging cycles. This has nothing to do with number of days but actual charges.

deep discharge is to run it all the way down then fully uninterrupted charge it to 100%
