Even if it has no physical button to push ie the GS3 and the GN2, there will be home and back buttons on the screen provided by the OS. The Menu button moves depending on the needs of the program. In fact, Google has been discouraging the use of physical or capacitive buttons on Android phones since ICS was released in Oct 2011. Manufacturers fought this claiming their customers preferred them. The Galaxy Nexus and the new Nexus 4, Google's vision of the platform standard, each have had no physical buttons, the Galaxy Nexus was released in Dec 2011.
I hated the capacitive buttons on my RAZR HD. Every time I hit the home button instead of the space bar when typing a message, I wanted to throw the phone out the window.

What exactly are you laughing at? Honeycomb and the Moto Xoom was the first software and hardware that didnt have any physical buttons from Android. Which was released mid May 2011.
But they still have on screen keys so its not exactly the same. But thats not my cup of tea. It also takes up screen real estate. Now it is a good looking aside from its size. Nvm it just looks like an iPad Nano, now i see why he laughed.
not official so i dont believe it
For anyone that doesn't have anything positive to say, please remember in my original post that I acknowledged that I didn't know if it was posted (therefore I didn't know if it was news or just news to me). Also, I know this is from the Playbook sub-forum but I still think this applies http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...forums-655452/
how can you warn people about having nothing positive to say when you in the OP are laughing at another platform imitating the no button approach yourself, what do you want? positive blackberry comments bashing the s4?. Blackberry isnt the first and wont be the last to use no home button on their phones, its childish to nitpick and claim one platform has done something different with a button so this means no one else is allowed to do the same
So that means there isnt any imitation, because 10 times out of 10 it will have on screen navigation buttons. Correct?
