Hi, well i'm moving from a Blackberry Curve 8900 to a Storm 9550, I have a BIS Data plan on my 8900, but when I put my SIM card on the 9550, I don't get EDGE, just edge in lower case, I've tried reloading the OS, doing battery pulls, etc. any ideas?
did you apply the phones IMEI and PIN onto your BIS account? most of the time, just dropping in the SIM wont work. you need to call your carrier and give them the info to update your BIS account and push service books to the new phone.
