I want to receive exchange e-mail on my BB, but attempts to set it up have failed. I don't want to get the BES plan. I have T-Mobile on my 8900. I tried to setup the redirect rule in MS Outlook, but I don't get any of the messages. I keep reading that contacts need to be set up on the admin side.

This is a huge company and they have all sorts of restrictions, etc.

Is there any way to work around this?

If you don't want to use BES and your company has OWA you can set up BIS to use OWA to check your email, it's not push like BES just a 15 minute scan but it does offer some functionality.

I tried that and it wouldn't validate. I read somewhere that the company can block BIS access, which is my guess that they have.

Unfortunately, bypassing corporate email restrictions is a quick way to get fired. For good reasons, don't you think?

You will need to get permission from the company.
