I am out of range and really happy my new phone has wifi. However when I get an email i get a tone and vibrate but the email/message icon does not acknkowlege that there is a new message nor does the red light blink.

So if i do not hear the phone I do not know I have an email unless I actually open up the message folder.

is there a way to change this?

Try to set Your LED as on under screen and keyboard options then exit everything :


-Go to Menu

-Press Messages

-Press Menu

-Select Options

-Select Inbox Setting

-Check [tick] everything under Email Accounts and Other Message Types
