They might get the Style. I believe Telus is. CDMA probably has a max of 3 years of life left in Canada though......
You can always get a second hand or refurb 8530.

I canceled my contract with BELL for lack of CDMA blackberry options, I made it clear they lost a 10 year high dollar customer due to their focus on HSPA whilst ignoring CDMA and Ontario coverage.
I have encouraged everyone to is thinking of leaving Bell to write their customer retentions when they are leaving to explain that Bell is NOT supporting their existing customers.

MAJOR coverage differences.
in all provinces but Alberta CDMA coverage is much greater than HSPA coverage. especially in Ontario.
HSPA is nice because you get to make phone calls while using data, and you can switch phones for free with SIM cards,
BUT my CDMA tour got considerably better range of service over associates 9700's also it SEEMS CDMA penetrates concrete better than GSM so when in buildings without boosters CDMA works better.

i always had good signal with my storm 2 not one dropped call,different story with my torch,lot of dropped calls :mad:

My Work phone is Still Bell, went from 8330 (CDMA) to 9300(HSPA) I now don't have coverage about 50 days out of the year, and zero coverage in a few buildings that I used to have full coverage.
the ONLY province I say HSPA is better than CDMA is Alberta, they've dumped a lot there, BC being a close second.
BUT! if you never leave Toronto, or Winnipeg, or Montreal, and stay out of Thick concrete buildings then HSPA will be as good fro you as CDMA
Nova Scotia here, I have not lost signal yet, even inside big box stores.
your province has pretty good coverage, but try leaving the major urban centres

Well, since Nunavut only has Bell, and I doubt any other carrier will ever come up here, I think I'm stuck with them. But someone told me yesterday the Style was coming to Bell...just wish I knew when. lol
