What is your source for that? AFAIK the Z30 is already available in some places.

er... there are already BB10 devices.

    z10, Q10, q5, z30.

The Z30 is a "newer" generation of hardware, since the z10 and q10 share the same internals. I think the Q5 is also in that generation as well.

If you're looking at previous history, BBRY tend to stick with a 6-12 month cycle.

I'm hoping that BBRY will stick to a 12-18 month hardware upgrade cycle with their 4 devices cycle (full touch, qwerty high end and low end, and a full touch 'phablet') with a hardware that won't be ridiculed as much.

Ah so no more AFTER the Z30 until March. I wasn't really expecting otherwise. I know there have been some new devices leaked recently, but realistically March sounds like a suitable time for those to be released.

I'm curious as to the identity of the "source" at BlackBerry that provided the info.

They word the title to make it sound like March is when more devices will come out. The content doesn't support that at all, nor does any of the evidence from press releases. Nothing after the Z30 until March, and nothing after March is what the article is really saying. There is no confirmation whatsoever that any device is, or is likely to launch in or after March. Only confirmation that nothing will launch until then and the likelihood of nothing after then.

I also doubt the authenticity of the source anyway. If BlackBerry wanted to confirm future hardware prospects it would have surely been in one of the press releases, not given in an interview to an obscure website.

They've already announced they would only have 4 devices being produced at any one time.

Yes, which concurs with what I said. The Z10, Q10, Q5, and Z30. Not sure why you quoted me to say that?

From now on, what Blackberry intends to do with new devices is less important than what the carriers are willing to carry. This was a big issue for Palm as they got into their downturn. All of a sudden the carriers would delay, etc. I have to think this is something that affects the Z30, also.

Perfectly sensible idea ... BlackBerry 10 devices are about as popular as a fart in a crowded elevator.

Just my opinion, but I would doubt anything that is written until the sale goes through. I would bet that nobody except Prem, and Mike L along with a handful of people know what there plans are. Those plans could be anything from a piece meal sale to an entire new OS and everything in between. No matter what they do, I don't think the new BB will be anything like the old.

They are just launching the Z30!
    What more you need?
Q and Z10 have been launched February / March this year so it is normal to keep them going till next year.

Z10 has been EOL'd by many carriers - for example, Carphone Warehouse has removed it from their shelves. However BBRY has so many hanging around it is sure to turn up again - maybe on ebay or one of those TV channels you end up tuning into at 3am - where you buy one and get two free.
