I was just taking apart my phone for the 3rd time, and one of the T5 or T6 screw is shot. Now I can't put in the new keyboard I just bought; can't fix my touchpad; can't change the color of the lights.

Is the screw completely stripped?? If so, try to use gorilla glue. Put it on the screw and screw driver, let it set for a bit then go SLOW. That should do the trick. Or u can use JB WELD. Good luck

    You think I can glue/weld using a T5 instead of a T6 screwdriver? I only have 1 T6 screwdriver and I don't want to ruin it...

im going to side with rdiddy here. with it being stripped that bad the only other option would be going from a t6(i think) to a t7 with a piece of rubberband like i bbm'ed you. or the jbweld or gorilla glue.

I would use the t6 not the t5 because it will not have enough grip. Is the keyboard set coming with another screwdriver?

No, but I just ordered a set of grade A T5 - T9 drivers, so I can savage the current T6 driver I have. Any idea where I can buy T6 screws made out of diamond? Or anything harder than the OEM screws?

Try taking a flat blade screwdriver that it just larger than the opening. Try wedging it and that might get the screw out.

Or, go to the hardware store and buy a set of Easy-Outs.

There's not enough torque to screw in that screw to make it very "stuck". Just get creative, get some glue or a rubberband, and slowly, with some force, retract it. Should be fine. I doubt you should be screwing it in that hard to make it strip like that. :P
