Just got done speaking with VZW "high level" I asked for news on an update for my 9930. He was reluctant but he told me it is going to be 7.1.0.284. I'm happy I'm getting an update that is official. Can anyone share what may be in this update or point me to where I can read about it. It may be a Tmobile off shoot not sure. Also, he said I will be able to keep my data plan until at least BB10 is launched. Thanks in advance.

I am running an att bold on the tmobile 284 and it is by far the best os I've ran on this phone. Great battery life,memory management,signal etc.........

Great news! I have had no issues witj 9930/7.1.0.163 so far but I always love an officially released carrier update!

He did not give a date. Just that it has been approved.

I always use the official updates from the carrier I fine loading leaks takes too much of my time.
