    is that the newest one out aren't there any like telus or sprint ones that are newer that can load onto the verzion 8330? because my friend already has that version on her phone because she bought her's in march of this year and that update was october of last

    She will also need this. If she is new to blackberries and not having any issues with hers then she should wait until she gets familiar with the device. Otherwise here ya go...

    It will, but it is full of problems for Verizon users, which you are.

    The only non-hybrid OS i would recommend is the Sprint 4.5.0.131 OS:

    Also, your profile says you have the 8330m, so you would have to stick with the .131 or the .138 versions for the 8330m.

    well i do have the 8330m for sprint, but im looking at this for my friend who has a verizon 8330 and i was looking for the newest and best software to put on for her because her phone seems to freeze up alott..

    Her phone could be freezing up on her because the memory card may have a corrupted filesystem on it.

    Simple to test. Take out her memory card, and if the freezing stops, move the files off her memory card and format the card in the BB. then move the files back on the card.
