Hi,

Newbie here. How do I ensure that while the music player is playing (or silent and minimised in the background) that SMS alert tones still sound as it seems as if they are silenced even with normal or loud profile set ?

Apologies if this is a stupid question.

PS : is it possible to have different SMS tones for different contacts (I already have different ring tones)

PS : Edit : the reason being is that I use the music player to stream via bluetooth in the car and do not want to miss anything.

1. If you are listening to music and get a text, call, email your will get the alert as long as the profile you are using is set to that.
